The quality of the products Excerpt from the technical guidelines "Solid, finger-jointed and laminated profiles for wooden windows":
Wood moisture content of 13+/-2% must be maintained during the entire production process.
The annual ring inclination must correspond to rift or semi-rift.
The annual ring width within a cross-section must not exceed 6 mm.
The difference between the annual ring widths of connected parts must not exceed 3 mm.
The apparent density r12 must be at least 350 kg/m³ for softwoods and at least 550 kg/m³ for hardwoods.
Thickness tolerances of max. +/-0.1 mm for the lamellas to be bonded must not be exceeded.
In addition to the required stress group D4 according to ÖNORM EN 204, the adhesives must have a temperature resistance at 80 °C.
For softwoods the pressing pressure should not be less than 0.5 N/mm², for hardwoods not less than 0.7 N/mm².
Longitudinal joints must always be connected by finger joints, whereby the longitudinal pressure must be at least 12 N/mm².
In order to compensate for tension and humidity, the scantlings must be stored in a tempered room for at least two days before further processing or transport.
A non-erasable marking of the manufacturer in the adhesive joint is used as identification marking.
The product certification is marked as a quality feature on the outside of each manufactured scantlings.
